Art Education Portfolio
Volunteer:
My passion for art often leads me into volunteer work. I love speading the knowledge of art, and art techniques with the public. Also, working with the younger generation and letting them explore outside of school is a wonderful experience - for them and me.

Oakland Drama Club
I volunteered to help and aid with a play, Transyl-Mania High, A Totally Teen Comedy and Dorothy in Wonderland for the Drama Club at Oakland Middle School in Murfreesboro, TN. I helped guide students in drama, making posters and makeup. Also, I helped make the set.

During Residency I, I took my last Art Education class at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN. My peers and I gathered art work from 5th grades from our schools and collaged the students' art waterlilies, frogs and fish to a mural at CRMC . *

Celebration
Celebration is a day of demonnstration and, well, celebration of crafts at Appalachian Center for Crafts in Smithville, Tn. I was taking Surface Design in the Fiber studio. I volunteered to demonstrate screenprinting with the public.

Window on the World
Window on the World is a celebration held at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN to educate and celebrate different cultures of students of the university. I volunteered at the Appalachian Center for Craft Fiber studio; and, I demonstrated spinning.
